The client did not have a logo which presented challenges for the team. The team usually uses logos to craft a design based on the client’s preference. Color choices and site layout have been based around the client’s logo in the past. Essentially, the team had to rely on the different reference sites to get an idea of the client’s preference.

The team constructed a site using the different reference sites the client sent and their feedback.

Site construction steps:

1. Inspiration was taken from the client’s words about diet and lifestyle to choose a color palette.
2. Different buttons and icons were designed to make them distinct and pleasing to the eye.
3. The text was also strategically placed in spots the eyes usually concentrate on when viewing.

The client wants a new website done fast because they already have an existing site. They also needed content to explain what the services were and to make the case for picking Synapse over other providers. Essentially a site and content were asked of the team quickly.

The team had to divide responsibilities appropriately to get the project done on time. The designers studied the existing site and used its design to create the new website. Creative members of the team had to design the layout. The content was written by the writer after heavy research to explain the service in layman’s terms. The team came together after all the parts of the website were built to assemble the site.

Dr. Sharma gave the team a file that detailed his content and website layout. The features he wanted were not all compatible with out-of-the-box. The major challenge was adding high-resolution images to the website without slowing down loading speeds.

The sections with the complex layouts were made by adding custom styles to their elements. Visibility was adjusted to feature or hide elements based on the screen size of the visitor’s device. The layout is different for phones and desktops but optimized for both devices to ensure a perfect user experience regardless of device. The images were also optimized for a retina display feature ensuring the visitors see the images at their best.

We made a draft by following the reference site and menu hierarchy the client gave. They gave us content, but this contribution necessitated revisions in the design to allow everything to flow well together. The client also changed some of the icons we made. The pages created were also changed by our client. We also went through some delays because of the new content and images the client wanted us to implement.

We had to check in with the client regularly because they wanted their site built quickly. Our team had to wait for the drafts and content to be posted on their site. We had to put all the content into the site once they sent it, but before everything was sent. Our team had to put a coming soon page as a placeholder while we waited for the content. We turned crawling off so nothing unusual would show up on the site until everything was complete. Once we received all of the content, we posted all of the content on the proper places in the site and enabled crawling to finish the site.

The client wanted the site built in a matter of days, which is difficult because websites usually take longer to build. That did not deter the team, and they accepted the challenge, which was to design and develop a site to satisfy the client’s desires in a short time.

The team had to make haste because the project had to be done in a short time. Choosing a premade layout from Divi helps save time but isn’t without issues. The premade layout is not perfect for the client’s needs and preferences, thus necessitating some modifications. The developer had to make changes to the icons, colors, and content of the premade layout to fit the client’s needs and preferences.
